      A plateauing of hospitalizations and deaths has prompted Gov. Larry Hogan to begin his recovery plan for Maryland. This plan includes expanded testing, which could contribute to a rise in confirmed cases. Reference the first graphic’s tabs for negative tests for an indication of the number of tests being completed.       Day by day: Confirmed Maryland cases, hospitalizations, deaths and negative tests

      The state began reporting hospitalizations on March 26 and negative test results on March 28. The state is not reporting the number of pending or total tests administered.
